Delivery & Returns

 
UK ORDERS - STANDARD DELIVERY

We charge £3.50 for a standard 'untracked' delivery and £4.95 for a 'tracked' service to all UK locations.

Items will normally be dispatched within 72 hours (during the working week) or in the next two working days if ordered at the weekend or on a Bank Holiday.
Seasonal periods or during 'Sale' periods, might be subjected to longer dispatch times - up to 10 working days.

Items will be sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce couriers, depending on the weight. We reserve the right to choose whichever method we feel most suitable. Parcelforce service requires a signature as proof of delivery.


We make every effort to pack your items securely to ensure you receive them in perfect condition. On occasion, delicate items, particularly ceramics, do get damaged in transit. In such instances, we will readily send replacements. Please do not be offended if asked to provide photographic evidence by SMS or email of such damage. This is required by us in order to claim compensation from the couriers and no further inferences should be drawn.

Portugal -  £19.95 for parcels up to 2kg (Royal Mail) or £29.95 for anything heavier (Parcelforce)

Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Turkey -  £19.95 for parcels up to 2kg (Royal Mail) or £31.95 for anything heavier (Parcelforce) 

Greece -  £19.95 for parcels up to 2kg (Royal Mail) or £39.95 for anything heavier (Parcelforce)
 
RETURNS
Online customers have a 30 day cooling off period after receiving the goods, within which they may cancel the order and be issued with a refund (for purchased items only, shipping cost is not refunded). Customers must inform us of their wish to cancel in writing (email is fine) within this period. Customers have every right to inspect the goods for suitability as they would reasonably be allowed to in any shop. Whilst the removal of items from packaging for the purpose of inspection is fair and reasonable, customers are reminded that they too have a duty of care and must take adequate steps to look after the goods.

Magpie will not collect unwanted goods and will not pay to have them returned. Goods should be returned in the packaging they were sent in and utilising any packaging materials originally provided, or failing that, in comparable packaging that might reasonably be expected to protect the items from damage during transit.


Faulty / damaged / incorrect goods
We fully appreciate the disappointment and inconvenience upon discovering eagerly awaited goods are either damaged or not the correct ones. If a product is defective we are happy to refund your costs in returning it to us providing notification is given to us in writing within 7 days of delivery. We will replace or refund any faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, subject to stock availability...


RECYCLING
We try to reuse as much packaging as we can that comes through the warehouse, so please don’t worry if your box is a little rough around the edges. By reusing, we’re reducing waste and able to keep shipping charges low, a win win situation! Feel free to reuse our box that’s filled with your lovely new products, and don’t worry everything has been wrapped and padded to protect in transit.
